A "beer league" is an amateur sports league, usually in reference to hockey. To some, it might have a connotation of unprofessionalism. Those people are boring. But also right. I can't in good faith describe this blog as "professional." But that's not its goal. To me, a "beer league" isn't a professional, corporate institution; it's something that builds community between people over a shared interest. It's also something that reminds us not to take ourselves so seriously all the time. Hence, Beer League Philosophy is my attempt at fostering a community of people who love philosophy and weird art as much as I do. If that sounds like something you're into, stick around.
